A Love Letter to Myself: A Chicago Variety Show at Revolution Brewing, 2323 N Milwaukee Ave., 6:00 p.m. A diverse group of Chicago women read letters to themselves about self-acceptance and empowerment. Storytelling, comedy and silent auction.

Letter readers: Tracy Baim (Windy City Times), Emily Dreke (Chicago Foundation for Women), Kim Fountain (Center on Halsted), Noreen Heron (Heron Agency), Saya Hillman (Mac & Cheese Productions), and Tamar Manasseh (Mothers Against Senseless Killings).

THURSDAY, MARCH 15

Laugh Therapy Thursdays at The Atrium, 4151 183rd St., Country Club Hills, 9:00 p.m. A new stand-up showcase hosted by Taneshia “Just Nesh” Rice. Just Nesh opened for Dick Gregory nationwide and appeared on Kevin Hart’s Hart of the City and The Next Level, both on Comedy Central. She is a nationally touring headliner.

Ten at the Store at 2002 N. Halsted, 9:00 p.m. Free stand-up showcase. Tonight: Mona Aburmishan, Sarah Albritton, Aimee Blaze, Yoni Heisler, Merrit Landsteiner, John McCombs, Brad Rickert, Abi Sanchez, Alec Stein, and Meghan Sullivan.
